The first track is a cover of "Still Alive" - the theme song from Portal (composed by Jonathan Coulton). I didn't perform the midi track that I used, though I wish I could take credit for it. That work was done by Jarrett Heather (www.spaceparanoids.net).

The second track, "Tilt Shift", is a minimal piece that was conceived along side a lovely tilt shift style video I made (bit.ly/i8Z7RU). The video was shot in Morgantown, West Virginia from a hotel room far above the small city. Watch and love.

The fourth track, "You've Heard the Story" is an upbeat jazz infused piece featuring snippets of a few artists that inspire me.

I'd like to challenge you to guess what two songs by those inspirations are used in the "You've Heard the Story". If you send me the correct answer (mark@arkarsenal.com), I'll send you a free track off my next EP (currently in the works!) before its release.
